Immigrants and their Families

The fundamental constitutional protections of due process and equal protection embodied in our Constitution apply to every person, regardless of immigration status.

Women's Reproductive Freedom

Today, gender bias continues to create huge barriers for many women. Ongoing struggles include ensuring equal economic opportunities, educational equity, and an end to gender-based violence.

Voting is the cornerstone of our democracy and the fundamental right upon which all our civil liberties rest. AZW4J works to protect and expand Americansʼ freedom to vote.

The right to join with fellow citizens in protest or peaceful assembly is critical to a functioning democracy and at the core of the First Amendment. Proposed legislation was introduced to limit the rights of protesters and thwart free public expression that would endanger our freedom to peacefully assemble and speak freely.

"Women belong in all places where decisions are being made... It shouldn't be that women are the exception."

— Ruth Bader Ginsberg
